What:

A pitch is a sales speech that presents a product, idea or service in a short and concise form. Entrepreneurs can pitch their idea to investors, customers, new partners, or, for example, to various innovation competitions where money or collaboration deals are sought. 

The purpose of a pitch is to arouse interest in the audience and convince them of the strengths of the matter. At the same time, the pitch talks about the enthusiasm, vision and expertise of its creator. If successful, the pitch leads to further discussions between the presenter and the audience. 

Summarizing the core message and selling it to others is a skill that can and should be practiced. Writing a successful pitch requires polishing, practice and sometimes even failures. 

There is no warm-up phase in a pitch. It is a Call for Action that appeals to emotions from the first words, with the goal of achieving concrete action!
