Pia-Mariana Toukkari, Director of Continuous Learning at Xamk, is pleased that Xamk Pulse continues to attract students year after year.
– We continuously work to ensure that our course offerings are up-to-date and meet the needs of the constantly changing job market. It is great to see how Xamk Pulse’s studies attract a significant number of students from outside South-Eastern Finland as well.”
Xamk’s role in the field of continuous learning is significant: last year, Xamk Pulse students completed 18% of all open university of applied sciences credits in Finland.
Open university of applied sciences studies are open to everyone, regardless of previous educational background. This trend is also visible nationwide, but the goal is to offer learning opportunities to an increasingly broader and more diverse group.
– We want to ensure that continuous learning remains accessible to everyone. Xamk actively participates in national development projects and continuously develops its own operations. We strive to ensure that the educational opportunities we offer support the needs of students in different life situations and the job market in the future as well.”
