April 23
Overall parties around the town, Mio Ry

Departure from Mikkeli Market Square starting at 16:00, with staggered departures every half hour until 18:30. The event begins with an overall baptism and oath for freshmen, followed by an improvisation tour around Mikkeli city center. Bring weather-appropriate clothing, overalls, good spirits, and optionally a pirate-themed costume. The evening culminates in an after-party at Wilhelm, featuring Dog Hustlers.

April 26:
Landlubber (Hangover) Sitsit at Puska, Mikkeli campus O-building, starting at 17:00. Bring a pirate-themed costume, your own drinks, and a songbook if you have one. More information available MIO ry’s Instagram @miomikkeli.

Outdoor Games from 17:00 to 19:00, organized by KAAKKO, NILA RY, and XAMK Sports. The event will take place at the campus bonfire spot and nearby park areas. More information on instagram

KoIO ry organizes the traditional Popov’s capping at Isopuisto (Itäkatu) on April 30 at 12:00. Bring your engineer caps if you have them, and students traditionally wear overalls.
Kotka student associations (Meteli ry, KoIO ry, Merkkari ry, CyberClub, and Kostea ry) jointly organize an event at Kotka’s Isopuisto starting at 15:00. The event is free, bring your own snacks. Expect a fun time, with badges and Las Palmas after-party wristbands for the fastest attendees.
