Spring Joint Application for Universities of Applied Sciences 2025

Xamk is expanding its selection of English-taught degree programs. New technology programs in this application period include:

• Bioproduct Technology in Savonlinna
• Efficient Supply Chain Management in Kotka
• Water Technology and Sustainability in Mikkeli

A new English-taught Nursing program will be introduced in the field of health care in Mikkeli. Nursing Top up programme is meant for someone who has a Bachelor of Nursing degree, or a Diploma level qualification in Nursing completed outside Finland. In Mikkeli, they will complete additional studies to qualify for a nurse’s degree recognized by Valvira.

Additionally, a new master’s degree program, Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology, will also be available.

A total of 11 study options are open for applications. Admission results will be announced by May 28, 2025, and studies will begin in autumn 2025.

• Application period: January 8–22, 2025
• National joint application: Apply to 1–6 degree programs at different universities with a single application form.
• Admission results: Announced no later than May 28, 2025
