Xamk’s student entrepreneurship team offers support services and its network to help you safely experiment and grow at your own pace. Student entrepreneurship offers the opportunity to build entrepreneurial skills also known as today’s work life skills, which develop both you and your professional path already during your studies. Entrepreneurial skills give you a head start in work life and opens doors to a new way of thinking, self-realization and influence.
We offer support services that enable you to start building your own entrepreneurial path – whether your goal is to develop entrepreneurial skills, a fast-growing business (startup) or to build a business at your own pace. Through events, communities and support services, you can find reliable counseling resources, networks and financial support. This way you can experiment, learn and grow at a pace that suits you.
Whether you are at the very beginning with your idea or an already advanced entrepreneur, student entrepreneurship gives you the resources and the encouragement to move forward. Take your step into entrepreneurship and build the foundation for your future success story during your studies!

Include entrepreneurship in your field of studies
You can freely choose entrepreneurship studies – we offer courses which can be studied independently online as well as courses aimed at learning together.
At the same time, you can create an entrepreneurship-oriented PSP (personal study plan) together with your study supervisor and student entrepreneurship services (*ship Academy).
Depending on your degree, you can also connect
entrepreneurship to internships and your final thesis.
Xamk Startup Fund – funding for your own business ideas
Xamk Startup Fund distributes funding in the form of one-time grants of 250 to 1000 euros for the development of promising ideas for startups and student teams.
The applicant can be an individual student or a team. Grants are awarded based on applications.
Advisory support for entrepreneurial themes
“Helpdesk” service for students interested in entrepreneurship. We offer tips on current events and studies that promote entrepreneurship. In addition, you will hear how student entrepreneurship is supported at Xamk.

Make your invention a reality and earn money!
If you have developed a new device, solution or process that could meet the conditions of patenting (new, inventive and industrially exploitable), you can report it to Xamk’s innovation group. The group treats notifications confidentially. Please note that the invention must be kept secret before patenting. A reward of €300 per inventor can be paid for approved inventions. Note that you keep the rights of your invention.
Even ideas that cannot be patented but are useful can be rewarded. For these, a €100 reward is paid to the creator. Report your inventions and ideas using the same form!
