Xamk’s ethical principles

All Xamk’s operations as well as students and staff are guided by ethical principles that are based on Xamk’s values. These ethical principles define the common rules, according to which we all have to operate.

Ethical Guidelines for Studies

Ethical Guidelines for Studies are a part of Xamk’s study guidance system.

Working, Teaching, and Learning

  • We take care of information security and data protection. We use information, social media, and IT in a responsible way.

Higher Education Community and Administration

  • We promote a safe environment by following safety instructions and conducting risk management.

  • In supervisory work, we listen, we are present, and we treat everyone equally.
  • We do not tolerate bribery or corruption.
  • We ensure sufficient job orientation and supervision.
  • We recognise conflicts of interest and do not act if we are disqualified (Administrative Procedure Act, section 28).
