The applied research, development, and innovation work (RDI) at Xamk is the most multidisciplinary and extensive among Finnish universities of applied sciences. The key focus areas of RDI activities are digital economy, sustainable well-being, maritime and logistics, as well as forestry, environment, and energy.
The research is directly aimed at solving the problems and developing the operations of companies and organizations operating in the region.
