We test the fire performance of products to support our customers’ product development.

Testing the combustion properties of materials is an essential part of the Mikpolis Research Unit.

Comprehensive study of fire properties

We offer our customers a comprehensive service from fire protection treatment to fire performance specification.

The latest investment in fire testing is a high-quality cone calorimeter delivered in 2023.

We work with Eurofins, which enables product certification tests. We carry out SBI tests through our network of research institutes.

Test equipment used by Mikpolis for fire testing of materials:

  • Deatak CC-2 –cone calorimeter
  • Small flame tester for applied research
  • Termoanalysis equipment, link (Thermal analysis of materials).

The most common standards we use for fire testing:

  • ISO 5660-1
  • ASTM E1354
