EMISSION MEASUREMENT SERVICES
With over 20 years of experience, our industrial emissions measurement service provides a wide range of high-quality measurement services to verify emissions.
Our services include:
- Annual verification of environmental permit requirements.
- Process development and improvement, production improvements, emission problem solving, control measurements.
- Long-term measurements (e.g., FTIR equipment hire).
Our client base includes thermal and power plants, as well as a range of industrial facilities. We also measure various cleaning systems.
Our team carries out around 100 annual emissions measurements in power and waste incineration plants, process industries and development projects.
Our FINAS-accredited scope of competence includes basic components such as CO2, CO, O2, NOX, SO2 and particulate matter, as well as heavy metals, HF, HCl and TVOC measurements, which are required, for example, in waste incineration plants. We also measure PCCD/F, PAH and PCB concentrations. Our measurements also provide you with information on process parameters (such as flue gas volume flow, humidity, oxygen content and temperature). The AST/QAL2 benchmarking service can be employed to ascertain the functionality of the fixed measuring equipment in situ. Parallel measurements can be conducted to demonstrate the validity of the fixed measuring equipment against the requirements of, for example, the Waste Incineration Regulation. The service encompasses:
– Calibration and validation of fixed measuring equipment using the reference method (QAL2)
– Annual monitoring of the fixed measuring instrument (AST)
– Checks on the linearity and calibration of the fixed measuring instrument.

FUEL TESTING SERVICES
Our fuel testing service allows customers to determine the properties of their fuel quickly and reliably. Our accredited service covers calorific value, moisture, and ash content. In addition, fuel elements such as hydrogen, nitrogen and sulphur content can be subcontracted from the sample. Solid fuel analyses are mainly performed for heating plants and power plants. The results can be used to determine the fuel price between the fuel supplier and the energy company and for CO₂ emissions trading. In addition, fuel characteristics are needed to calculate emissions.
