Equipment showcase

LoadFrame (large-scale test frame)

  • Testing area (T-slot) 5 m x 15 m. Load Frame dimensions: width 2.5 m, height 3.5 m. Full-scale wall elements, beams, joints and lattice structures can be tested.
  • Possible tests for Load Frame are static or dynamic loads: 2 x max 500 kN load from above up to 2 Hz (compression or tension) and 1 x max 500 kN from side. Static loads include tension, compression and shear loads. Dynamic loading can be used for simulations, such as vibration in structures.
  • The equipment enables an almost unlimited number of different wooden and hybrid structures to be tested on an industrial scale and close to actual building component assemblies.
