Electronics 3K Factory is equipped with a modern electronics production environment that enables versatile product manufacturing from prototypes up to serial production and testing.
IEC standard tests are taken into account when laboratory equipment investment are performed. In addition, project specific tests as well as tests in accordance with the requirements of the standard MIL-STD 810G can be carried out.
Product development laboratories at 3K Factory have been established for challenging harsh environment testing.

Electronics 3K Factory offers companies product development and production services in electronics and carries out research and development according to companies’ needs. We also offer companies training in electronics manufacturing. Our comprehensive testing services diversely support product development and production. We offer e.g. environmental testing for products, x-ray inspections and many other electronics testing services. In addition, our selection includes services related to 3D modeling, 3D scanning and printing.
With our state of the art electronics development environment, we are able to offer extensive product development and manufacturing services; from design to prototypes, from serial production to final testing.
Our laboratory is capable for harsh environment testing to ensure product reliability. The equipment enables tests according to the IEC standard or product-specific instructions as well as according to MIL-STD 810G standard.
3D services support the 3K Factory’s wide-ranging activities in product development, testing and production of electronics, for example in the development of electronics-related structural solutions.

Electronics 3K Factory was established in year 1999. The action was initiated by a few people and took place in an empty industrial hall. The facilities have since grown into a local technology center called Elektronia, where operates a number of different electronics companies. Today these companies employ well over a hundred electronics professionals.
Since the establishment, the Electronics 3K Factory has been guided by a strong goal: to produce company services that support their growth. These include training to promote knowledge and various product development services to the needs of enterprises.
Since the beginning of the year 2017 the Electronics 3K Factory is part of the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences as an Electronics Research and Development Centre.
