BioSampo is one of the laboratories of South-Eastern University of Applied Sciences. RDI is big part of our institution and BioSampo is focused RDI unit. We carry out versatile testing and development work and offer our partners customized research, product development, piloting and analysis services.
The goals of research, development and innovation activities have arisen from societal and environmental challenges. BioSampo’s RDI activities are carried out as research and development projects as part of the Forestry, Environment and Energy area of Southeastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.
We offer versatile solutions for biochar research and analysis to support development work with our modern laboratory equipment. We also have strong know-how and expertise in applied research and process development around circular economy and environmental themes. Micronization of various challenging recycled materials to facilitate beneficial use are part of our versatile testing services.

Below are listed BioSampo’s main research and deveplopment areas. Our pyrolysis understanding is top notch with analysis equipment to back up 15 years of practical production experience. We have micronization equipment and analysis equipment to analyze particle size and structure. We do versatile applied research experiments and productization.
