Villages on the Move Go

The project promoted the European active lifestyle, especially in rural areas.

The project is finished.

European sports clubs are facing new challenges as the societies are changing. Where can we get new volunteers?

Villages on the Move GO is the third project funded by the Erasmus+ Sport program, where the European active lifestyle is promoted, especially in rural areas. Remote areas have their own special challenges, for example in the absence of commercial operators.

How do you inspire people to engage in health-promoting and competitive sports?

What is the meaning of community?

VOMGO collects sports fire souls from seven different countries – passionate supporters of exercise – and shares their stories to inspire others. We organize Hackathons for sports clubs and compile a handbook of the best methods and ideas found for use by sports clubs and other operators. The best ideas and results can also be found on the Villages on the Move map application.
