Performance on Job-search

The objective of the project was to develop and create a new and innovative socio-cultural model to mitigate gender segregation.

The project is finished.

Objectives

The main objective of the project is to develop and create a new and innovative socio-cultural model to mitigate gender segregation, thereby strengthening men’s employment and eagerness in employment in female-dominated sectors and to have a change in the atmosphere: away from thinking about that there are women’s and men’s occupations. In the project, creative methods are used to develop men’s empowerment, healthy lifestyles and life management, thereby increasing men’s employability in female-dominated sectors, interest to work in female-dominated sectors, and seeking employment in female-dominated sectors, and overall gender sensitivity.

The aim of the project is to create a creative scalable model that uses theater exercises and physical methods such as fitness, sports, health and well-being, which will enable jobseekers and non-working men of different groups to gain strength and increase their level of alertness as job seekers.

Activities

The project will be implemented in and carried out through the following four work packages:

  • WP 1: Preliminary preparation, recruitment
  • WP 2: Job Search Performance training
  • WP 3: Job search coaching path, job search and future planning
  • WP 4: Job Search Performance training modeling, evaluation, research and reporting

Results

As a result of the project, the participant in the target group will be able to reflect on his own experience in job search situations and life management in general: he recognizes himself as a bodily and meaningful human being, is ready to face another person with equality and respect, understands the meaning of his performance online, in interviews, learns to network, and associate regardless of gendered role models.

A person is able to carry an open dialogue and is able to reflect on his situation, put on words how the situation went and how his job search can continue to develop and in general to promote his own health and life management.
