Kareva – Enhanching International Recruitment Readiness project aims to improve the capabilities of companies in Kymenlaakso to recruit and integrate international talents. The project promotes the diversity of work communities and offers different cooperation opportunities for companies in the Kymenlaakso area.

What we do

There is need to improve the conditions and capabilities for international recruitment and diversity in companies in the Kymenlaakso region. Diversity and international recruitment are key to maintaining the economic competitiveness and vitality of Kymenlaakso. Attitudes towards diversity have become more positive, and companies that invest in diversity perform better economically than others.

During the project:

A comprehensive mapping will be conducted to form an overview of the skills and personnel needs of local companies
Training programs and support models will be developed and piloted to support the companies recruitment capabilities
Innovative employment models will be trialed and piloted
Integration services for international students and job seekers will be improved
The Kymenlaakso Future Workshop 2025 event will be organized

The target groups are companies in Kymenlaakso region, organizations in the immigrant service networks, local authorities, and international students and job seekers.

The Kareva project develops innovative solutions and new operating models that have not been tried in the region before.

We offer recruitment-related training and collaboration tailored specifically for your company

We offer companies free training to improve their capabilities to recruit international professionals, as well as various support models for employment. The goal of the trainings is to improve the companies’ ability to recruit skilled labor and to help companies utilize the diversity of personnel as a driver of business growth.

We provide information about different opportunities for training and educational collaboration, as well as various employment support options.

The training programs are tailored to the companies’ needs.
