Geoenergy Leap – Investments
In the project a medium-deep geoenergy well will be invested in Kymenlaakso.
Medium deep energy wells for research and training use
Outcomes
The key outcomes of the project are medium-deep (600-800 m) geothermal wells in each province integrated into research and teaching infrastructure built around the geothermal wells.
Xamk will invest in the Kymenlaakso region in the Geoenergy Leap investment project managed by the Geological Research Center (GTK).
Deeper geothermal wells will achieve a higher energy production volume per well
The development work of the RDI environment being built is carried out in the Geoenergy Leap development project.
