eSports Game Ecosystem
In ESGE project the goal was to develop the local know-how of esports and bring together people who are interested in the field.
The project has been completed.
What is our goal?
Electronic sports (esports) is becoming more and more popular and the possibilities and different forms of esports are developing rapidly. The goal of ESGE – eSports Game Ecosystem –project is to build an ecosystem for esports in Kymenlaakso, that will further develop the gaming cluster, as well as digitalization, internationalization, and startup-entrepreneurship, in the area.
What do we do?
The project builds a strong network of esports professionals and organizations in the Kymenlaakso region, discovers possible business opportunities in esports, and develops the understanding of esports among the key industry stakeholders. ESGE will bring together the eSports players, businesses, events, education, and the RDI activities of the UAS.

We have built a network of people in Kymenlaakso area who are interested in esports and gaming . The network has own Discord-channel, where we organize different kinds of game evenings.
