Joko Project

The project develops new education models to meet the needs of working life in a working life-oriented manner and produces new kind of cooperation between education and companies.

The project develops an apprenticeship-type education model.

Working together for better anticipation and innovation in education

The project’s activities develop cooperation between educational organisations and working life, thus responding to the competence needs of working life.

In the Joko project, training entities are made into handy modules, where it is easy to acquire precise competence. The project actors work closely together, and the educational organisations produce joint training pilots in which each learner can gain new competence in a practical way.

Acquiring expertise does not necessarily take years. In the tourism and hospitality industry, there are situations where there is an acute need for precise management training.

Companies in the tourism and catering industry will be able to participate in the project’s pilots, and they will be able to train their staff with new, working life-oriented precision skills training. Interested? Don’t hesitate to contact!

Key measures of the project

The project organises training pilots until spring 2025. The training pilots are based on working life, and Xamk pilots focus on training supervisors. The included themes are working life skills and day-to-day management, business skills and labour legislation, as an example. The training pilots are aimed at the personnel of companies that have joined the project. Interested? Don’t hesitate to contact!
