About the course package

Nordic Welfare Society: Basics, Values, Client Work, Media -course package is a mixture of theory and practice. In our courses we´ll take a closer look to the basics and values of social welfare work. Added to that, client work will be examined from various angles. Most importantly, we examine how digitalization and the continuous effects of media challenge the everyday life and well-being of various customer groups, and thus, create new professional requirements for all who work in the social sector.

Our courses include reading and writing tasks and related to them. We emphasize group discussions where we share our findings. Examinations are rare.
