Content of studies

NATIONAL LEVEL OF COMPETENCIES IN SOCIAL SERVICES

The generic learning outcomes at Xamk comprise the following competencies: learning competence, ethical competence, working community competence, innovation competence and international competence. You can deepen and supplement your core competence by studying, for example, nature-based rehabilitation, media skills in social services or child and family-based work. There is also a wide range of optional studies and studies that reflect the Xamk strategy and are offered to all students e.g.  entrepreneurship studies and digital competence studies.

Modes of mobility

This programme is available in the mode of exchange studies meaning one- or two-semester long mobility; not leading to a degree,  professional interaction / training (the duration and the contents of the training have to be agreed separately) or both aka combined studies and training. 

Autumn semester lectures start in the end of August/beginning of September and end before Christmas and Spring semester in the beginning of January until the end of May.
