Welcome to Xamk!

South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) is the 5th largest University of Applied Sciences in Finland. We provide education in eight fields of study, participate in research and development work and provide services to the businesses and residents of the area.

Xamk focuses on wellbeing, technology and creative industries. We have campuses in four towns: Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli and Savonlinna.

Visit Xamk (4-8 hours)

Finland is known for its high level of education. Xamk as a University of Applied Sciences focuses on learning by doing; combining theory and practice is one of our assets to provide our students with the best possible skills for their future work careers.

During the visit, you will get acquainted with Xamk and our pedagogical methods and solutions. You will:

• get an introduction to Finland and the Finnish education system
• learn about Xamk and Xamk’s educational methods
• hear about Xamk’s international activities
• visit and explore the modern facilities of the campus in question.

Visits can be arranged on any one of our four campuses.

Price for 5 participants: 115 € / person
Price for 10 participants: 75 € / person
Price for 20 participants: 55 € / person

The price of the visit includes:

  • invitation letters for visa application process (if needed)
  • lunch
  • introduction to Finland, the Finnish education system as well as Xamk and Xamk’s education
  • campus tour.

The price does not include:

  • any travel and/or accommodation costs
  • other possible costs during the visit.
