Master´s degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology
The Master’s degree program in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology at Xamk aims to enhance your theoretical and practical skills, allowing you to work as part of an expert team in sports, coaching, and rehabilitation. The curriculum focuses on the research and development of sports medicine and exercise physiology, including advanced methods in testing, measurement, and evaluation of athletic performance.
You will gain in-depth knowledge on preventing sports injuries, promoting recovery, and addressing psychological challenges faced by athletes. The program also covers the use of exercise technology innovations in treating sports injuries and common health problems. Study part-time in Savonlinna over 2.5-3 years, starting in January 2025, and earn a Master of Health Care and Social Services degree.
