Get active in Savonlinna
Xamk Sports offers sports activities for students.
There is a gym on Savonlinna campus, which students can use free of charge. Students need to buy a sport sticker to participate the sport groups.

Gym
Students and staff may use the campus gym free of charge.
Opening hours of the gym:
Mon–Sun 7:00–21:00.
Outside campus opening hours, you need an access key to the gym.
The gym is reserved for the staff on Mondays and Wednesdays 16:00–17:00 (students cannot use the gym).
Sport sticker
Students need a sports sticker (subject to a charge) to participate in ball games and instructed group exercise.
Price 2024-2025
- 20 € academic year (1.9.2024-30.4.2025)
- 10 € autumn semester (1.9.-31.12.2024) / 10€ spring semester (7.1.-30.4.2025)
Xamk students can pay the sport fee on Lux intranet (requires signing in)
After you have bought the sticker, you can collect your sport sticker from SOHVA’s/ SAIO’s/KAAKKO’s office during its opening hours by presenting the payment receipt.

You need to sign up for Crossfit class (click the activity and check the instructions). For the other activities you don’t have to sign up.

Students are doing sports and other activities at one’s own risk (own insurance is needed).
