Get active in Mikkeli
Xamk Sports offers sports activities for students.
Students can use the sports services (gym, sport groups) on Mikkeli campus by paying a sports fee. The sport services can be used by degree students of all universities.
Strength for your studies!
Sports fee – Xamk students
- 45 € academic year (1.9.2024-31.8.2025)
- 20 € autumn semester (1.9.-31.12.2024) / 30 € spring semester (7.1.-31.8.2025)
Xamk students can pay the sport fee on Lux intranet (requires signing in)
Sports fee – students from other universities
- 65 € academic year (1.9.2024-31.8.2025)
- 30 € autumn semester (1.9.-31.12.2024) / 40 € spring semester (7.1.-31.8.2025
Sport fee’s payment form (other than Xamk students)
In the spring semester, group exercise and ball games will end April 30th, gym can be used til 31.8.2025.
Gym
The campus gym is in the ‘U’ building on campus.
Students can access the gym with a key app Mon-Sun 6.30-21.00. The gym must be vacated by 22.00.

You don’t have to sign up for the activities. The calendar is subject to change.
Insurances
Students are doing sports and other activities at one’s own risk (own insurance is needed).
