Application fee to be introduced

The Ministry of education and culture is preparing changes in legislation considering application fees for applicants to degree programmes in higher education from outside the EU/EEA. The application fees are to be introduced for applications starting 1 January 2025 and onwards, when applying for degree programmes beginning on or after 1 August 2025.

The fees will not concern the Rolling admission (August 2025 intake) at Xamk because the application opens before 1 January 2025 but is expected to concern the Joint application, spring and other applications to degree programmes in 2025 and later (including rolling admission for later intakes).
