Rolling admission
(August 2026 intake)
15 November 2025 –
Continuous application to many Xamk degree programmes offering August 2026 intake. Apply to one programme of your choice! Application closes for each programme when the study places reserved it have been filled or on 28 February 2026 at the latest.

Joint application period
7 – 21 January 2026
In the Joint application, applicants can apply to a maximum of six degree programmes in Finland using one application form.
Read through all the information regarding the application process, required certificates, entrance examinations and student selection methods.

Separate applications
Separate applications are aimed for specific target groups and have pre-requisites for applying.
Rolling admission
- Application opens:
- August 2026 intake: 15 November 2025
- January 2027 intake: 15 May 2026
- Application closes when the study places reserved for each programme have been filled or on the general closing date (28 February 2026 / 31 August 2026) at the latest.
- Check the available programmes: bachelor / master
- You can apply to one degree programme in the Rolling admission.
- The application form and attachments are submitted via Studyinfo service.
- Link to application form and is available on Rolling admission website and programme details on Studyinfo during the application period.
- Students in the Rolling admission process are admitted in the order of submitted, complete applications. The admission result is generally published within three weeks from submitting the complete application.
- The student selection is based on certificate-based selection for non-Finnish qualifications or SAT or GMAT/GRE test results.
- An acceptable language certificate is required for all degree programmes.
- Deadline for accepting the offer of admission and paying full tuition fee: 3 weeks (21 days) from the notice of admission
- The Early Bird scholarship is available if you accept the offer one week (7 days) from the notice of admission, and pay the tuition fee with 10 % discount within 3 weeks (21 days) from the notice of admission.
Joint application

- You can apply to 1-6 degree programmes in different universities and universities of applied sciences in Finland with the same application form.
- The application form and attachments are submitted via Studyinfo service.
- Applicants who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee in order to apply to higher education studies.
- The required attachments are uploaded to the application form.
- An acceptable language certificate is required for most degree programmes. Check the programme-specific requirements and see a list of accepted certificates on UASinfo website.
- The student selection is based on entrance examinations or certificate-based selection for Finnish qualifications.
- Admission results are published on 27 May 2026 at the latest.
- Deadline for accepting the offer of admission and paying full tuition fee on 9 July 2026, 3 pm UTC+3.
- The Early Bird scholarship is available if you accept the offer one week (7 days) from the notice of admission, and pay the tuition fee with 10 % discount within 3 weeks (21 days) from the notice of admission.

Tuition fees and scholarships
The Finnish higher education institutions charge tuition fees for students outside the EU/EEA area. The fees concern the study programmes conducted in English.
Instructions for paying the tuition fee are given to the admitted student in the offer of admission.
Education agents
Xamk is using education agents to recruit students to our degree and non-degree leading programmes. Agents provide assistance in the application process and possibly in other matters, such as applying for the student visa.
Please note that you can also apply to all Xamk’s degree programmes without using the help of an education agent.
